preparations...

We have been preparing for our trip for a long time now - courses are planned, responsibilities at work have been doled out, house arrangements have been made, everyone has been notified - and now the blog is ready too! We have just over six weeks before our departure and we are quickly reaching the point where we want to stop the preparations and be on our way. We will attempt to create a journal to keep everyone aware of where we are and what we are doing, and hope to hear from friends and family in the comments. We'll be mailing the link to the blog out shortly.
